I think Carmen may be losing it ....
... I just saw her in the family room, now known as Leo's Room, reading the little lummox "Epossumondas" ... a story book she read to Maeread last night.
What's worse is he seems to be listening.

Excuse me. The only reason I was reading to the Little Lummox was that after his ridiculous, dangerous, berseker charge on a pack of dogs on your walk this afternoon, I wanted to remind him that like Epossumondas, "You DON'T have the sense you were born with! You never DID have the sense you were born with! You never WILL have the sense you were born with!"
Maggie says, "Carmen, YOU haven't the sense you were born with!"
Dear Maggie, How else is Leo going to learn if he doesn't get read to? In your own family, Banshee and Emma are smart enough, Guiness is ... uh...Guiness,but Henry is a noodlehead. Maybe you should consider reading to him to see if he gets any sense- perhaps, you can find a book about how to get DOWN a tree other than by falling.
I'm so glad you could come.
Ok, Henry IS a noodlehead, and no amount of reading is going to change that at this stage. He's currently sitting out in the rain, even though shelter is about 6 inches away. Guinness, though, is actually a twisted genius -- it's a big part of why he's so neurotic. If only he would use his power for good!
I don't understand anything or anyone you all are talking about except I know that it all concerns reading books and it is very, very funny!
It's actually about dogs. Especially our dog who is now officially confirmed as a 'noodlehead' who has not got the sense he was born with.
And then there is Maeread's cat Henry, who you can read about how he got trapped up a tree over on her family blog, which you can link to from OUR family blog.
And I need to put up a post to explain why the little lummox (aka Leo) is in the doghouse, so to speak.
ps: Guiness is a dog, too.
