Well, we made it to that steaming swamp hole to our south.
I am mostly staying in, crouched near an A/C unit, reading some good books. Every now and then I go out with Carmen to ferry my mother-in-law to the nursing home where my father-in-law is staying for some physical therapy.
My mother, on the other hand, seems happily preparing for her 91rst birthday in relatively good health.
Depending on what happens, blogging may be a bit light. Hugs and kisses to all the nieces and nephew up in the High Country while we are gone.

Glad to hear you are both safe. The kids MISSED you tonight! And we're very glad to hear Carmen's stubborn papi is getting the PT he needs.
He doesn't have a choice.
Any chance you two are going to make it down Longboat Key way?

No - for reasons you are probably aware of. Too much going on up here. If you are passing through on Sunday though we will be down at Mother's 91rst birthday party, way down in the south of the port city.
We should get together when you return to NC - that bar with the 100 draft beers might do.
