Jed the Mountaineer's fainting goats...

... I have a good friend, a native of the mountains, whose family goes back to the 1790s up here. He once inherited a herd of fainting goats. He told me that if he clapped his hands real loud the goats would faint and fall over.

I didn't believe him. Jed has lots of stories. This one, however, is evidently true.
