Th e Lummox is a loon....
... when it comes to snow. Yesterday we were out walking in the woods, when we suddenly began to hear sounds like thousands of tiny wind chimes in the branches. It was snow and freezing rain coming down. He loved it. Did not want to quit, did not want to get in the car. The snow was rapidly piling up.
So - on to round two. He wanted a walk in the afternoon and I took him out. Carmen suggested just to let him roam around the yard. We were well on our way to having the predicted 10 inches. Nope - he wanted to run - as fast as possible down the street, then up to the cul-de-sac, bounding through the snow as if he had legs longer than 4 inches (poor little fur sausage thinks he's a husky). I got back wet, exhausted, and feeling great. He got back feeling even better, and wetter. Went on a tear around the family room, full speed. Every now and then I would yell "Boooga booga!) and he would speed up for another tear. That's how he warms up.
I just took a hot shower.
