Poetic license.
It was actually one ex-Irish guy, a Bostonian, two Tarheels, an Asian, a duck, and someone from a state whose name will not be mentioned.
Followed later by two attractive women from opposite ends of the earth.
And an Irishman serving beer.
If you can't find a punchline there it's only because it is so confusing.
