Not Mayberry

Can a shy, retiring teacher from the big city find true happiness in the small town of Wilkesboro NC, which even the locals call "Moonshine Capital of the World."

A breaking news story of national interest right here in Wilkes....

... and, well, thousands of other places. At the last meeting of the Episcopal Book Club I was told by several members that they had received a DVD in the advertising section of the Charlotte paper. It was all about radical Islam and was called something like "Obsession." One or two said it was 'interesting.' I thought it was a little odd.

Josh Marshall has a little story about this DVD. 28 million of them are being distributed around the country by somebody to the tune of million of $$. The standard MSM is ignoring the story.

All very strange.

We got it the other day (some years ago got one about no plane hit the pentagon & the towers blew up from inside). Would love to know from what mailing list they got his name with his middle initial. He watched the muslem one a few minutes and said he stopped as it was too disturbing. Who the heck is bankrolling???? It's from The Clarion Fund 233 W 36th #800 NYC,and called "Obsession Radical Islam's WWar Against the West". I'm afraid to pull up website as who knows what stuff I'll start getting on email. Blaine now has the 911 dvd....somewhere...if anyone wishes to see it.

Update on my other comment. After posting I went back and clicked on dvd and read newspaper report about this Obsession film. In future I'll do that before I post comments!

It seems to be politically designed to work up a lot of fear and dread of Muslims just in time for the election. To hurt whichever one of the two candidates might have a Muslim sounding name.
